Attention, circulates a false email from microsoft
The Microsoft email contains a false virus
During the "patch day" on October 14, is running an email apparently signed by Microsoft but it contains a trojan.
The monthly patch day, the day when Microsoft releases security updates for its products, it must seem like a good time to spread malware posing as the Redmond company.
At this time, in fact, several users are reporting that Microsoft have received an email claiming to contain a security update issued by the company itself, there is an attached file executable.
To make matters worse is the fact that the letter signed by Steve Lipner seems - in charge of security programs from Microsoft - and has what looks like a PGP signature perfectly in order.
The attached file, as you can imagine, it contains a trojan, identified as Trojan.Backdoor.Haxdoor, which allows the attacker to take remote control of PCs.
Microsoft, of course, never distribute security updates via your email.
